Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Mirriam Costa, in Ticino, Switzerland, acting in her own name and trading under the STEMOVA brand. She can be contacted at support@stemova.shop. When STEMOVA Sagl is registered, the company will become the controller and this policy will be updated.

2. Applicable law

The revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 where it applies.

3. What is collected

• Your email address.
• The country you select.
• The answers you give to the optional waitlist questions.
• Technical information recorded by our email provider, including whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked.
• The date and time you joined the waitlist, and your confirmation of consent.

Nothing else. No payment data, no postal address and no phone number, because nothing is for sale.

Some of these answers may relate to your skin's sensitivity. They are optional, and we ask for your explicit consent before you answer.

4. Why

To operate a pre-launch waitlist and to send launch updates. Nothing else.

5. Legal basis

Consent, given by the double opt-in confirmation. It can be withdrawn at any time by unsubscribing, and withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

6. Who receives it

Klaviyo, the email platform, which processes the data on our behalf. Klaviyo processes the data in the United States. Apart from that, no one else receives it. The data is not sold and it is not shared for advertising. The transfer outside Switzerland and the EEA is made lawful by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, and, where those do not apply, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

The website itself is hosted by Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated, United States), which runs on Cloudflare's edge network and Supabase infrastructure. Those providers are sub-processors of the hosting service: what you submit passes through them in transit on its way to Klaviyo, and none of it is stored on the website's own systems.

7. How long it is kept

Until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, or until 24 months after launch, whichever comes first.

If STEMOVA does not launch, the waitlist is deleted and its members are told beforehand.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the data held about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• ask for processing to be restricted;
• object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable format; and
• withdraw your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@stemova.shop. Every email we send also contains an unsubscribe link.

You also have the right to complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to an EU supervisory authority where the GDPR applies.

9. Cookies

This site sets no analytics cookies and no advertising or tracking cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only thing stored in your browser is your language choice, kept locally so the site opens in the language you picked.

Fonts are served from this site’s own servers, so viewing a page makes no request to Google Fonts or any other third-party content network and your IP address is not shared with one.
